LeBron James is doing it again. At 40 years old, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is putting together one of the most remarkable seasons of his storied career, averaging over 25 points per game while shooting efficiently from the floor.

Head coach JJ Redick has leaned heavily on James down the stretch, and the four-time champion has responded in kind. His usage rate remains among the highest in the league, yet his efficiency numbers have barely dipped.

The Lakers, sitting just outside the playoff picture, need James at his best if they hope to make a run. With Anthony Davis healthy and Luka Doncic finding his footing in purple and gold, the pieces are there.

Whether it translates into postseason success remains to be seen — but nobody is counting LeBron James out.
